Happy First Day of Summer, Friends! I've been celebrating my summer break since the middle of May, but hey, who says the party has to stop? One of the most exciting parts of my summer so far was the week we spent in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada. Our first day there started with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, complete with the fluffiest mini pancakes and waffles (still sad I didn't get a photo of those!). After filling up on lots of carbs, our first stop was the Capilano Suspension Bridge. It was a shaky, yet thrilling walk over a 450 ft long and 230 ft high suspension bridge above the Capilano River. The entire time I was afraid my hat would fly off my head and 230 ft down into the river!

After a relaxing walk through the Bridge Park and a delicious lunch of fresh falafels and hot chocolate, we headed up to Grouse Mountain, home to the 2010 Winter Olympics. It was also home to a couple of Grizzly bears who reminded us of Baloo from Jungle Book (they were literally swimming on their backs and eating lollipops!). From the top of the mountain we witnessed breathtaking views of Vancouver and took a few minutes to take in the all the natural beauty. We struggled to capture it with our cameras, but honestly, it was so stunning, that our photos just couldn't do it justice.

We enjoyed beautiful weather all day long, so this lightweight stripe top from Zara (a total impulse buy) with my favorite white denim was perfect for a day of exploring. I paired the look with white flats--which I somehow managed to keep white after an entire day of walking-- and my fedora to tie everything together.

I can't wait to share the rest of my Vancouver style with you in the next few weeks. Hope everyone has a great week ahead!
